Moms are known to be protective of their children. What is the saying? Something like "a mom could lift a car off of her dying baby." Tonight there was a spider crawling on Bonnie's belly. Most people would flip out. Not my Honey Bee. Her motherly instincts kicked in and she smushed that creepy crawler so fast. Yes, she did smush it up against her little belly but hey, it makes for a firm surface to kill any bug that seems to be getting too close to her little one. We laughed and had fun. One day, baby, when you get older I hope you laugh and have fun with the memory of mom's first act of heroism for you.
